Scanning & Digitization Services
Digitization - A Brief
In present times, digitization is a huge money spinner as most of the corporate
houses at some point of time require digitization of their records and archives
that has been building up for years. They outsource their work to us and we at ERMS
ensure high-quality, high-volume scanning of their work. Our state of the art scanners
can look at up to 2400 pages per hour due to the addition of the components that
automatically turn pages hence cutting down on manual labour and the time lag caused
by the person working on the machine. Talk about high speed! Some of our machines
are even used for fragile materials such as books or documents that are quite old
and cannot bear the harshness of human touch. Believe it or not, but these machines
are gentle with them than any human ever could be. Digitization & scanning services
these days charge for their time used, plus extra charge for the materials used.
Proper organization, cataloguing will help the service provider you engaged to complete
the assigned task as soon as possible, thus costing you less. We try to provide
you with faster results within lesser cost.
Scanning Services
We all have priceless memories all bound in that little roll of negative, but who
knows their current state, whether they still retain the image that had been on
it originally or has it been crooked with time? Some old, torn-out pictures of our
childhood, and sometime even our parents’ childhood give us immense pleasure, but
did you ever wonder how long will this pleasure really last? Well, not longer than
you are able to keep together these torn, but precious bits and pieces. Looking
for a solution? You’ve come to the right place! At ERMS, we convert your films and
picture print outs to digitalized files that are easy to store, save, access and
have life longer than ours! We do this for you with the help of image scanning technology.
To maintain your old photographs, there are quite a few services with us to help
you preserve your memories.
Before you approach a scanning service provider, you need to understand how you
explain your requirements to them and how you answer their technical questions.
A dpi (dot per inch) is a measure of picture quality. A document or image with higher
dpi would mean more clarity even at larger size, while a document with low dpi might
not appear clear, negotiate with readability or mar the quality. Removal of minor
defects such as dust marks and red eye effects among many others are a few things
that you can ofcourse expect us to take care of as we deliver our scanning service.
So all things considered, remember that digital photos last longer than their counterparts,
and to top it all, the option to make numerous copies without compromising with
quality, fast sharing are additional bonuses that tag along.
